Michel and his team developed this unique machine. The power source of this quad is a Rolls Royce turbine. With their own technical expertise the team converted this engine into a true jet-engine complete with afterburner.
The chassis, brake system, bodywork, wheel arms, suspension and electronics, etc, all come from the house of Liberty Racing. “During one of the test sessions, I almost set my garden on fire. This was the moment we came up with the name “pyromaniac” Michel says. Developing and testing was great fun; we even had Rolls Royce over who couldn’t believe what we were doing.
The entire team was particularly important in the development and construction of the vehicle.
The Pyromaniac show includes a wide range of stunts where spectators expect the quad to crash… 360 degrees spins, donuts straight driving with blocked front wheels, remote interactive fire show, flames, smoke, bangs, and afterburner pops. The shows take between 12 to 20 minutes, including the start-up procedure of the turbine on the track.
The sound of an accelerating jet-fighter, the sensation of a fire spitting afterburner, immense flames, THIS IS PYROMANIAC TIME!
